He as performed as a Two-Piano team with his sister Katherine Ireland as the Ostrander Duo, performing at The Juilliard School at Lincoln Center, and with his former wife Jeanette Davis as the Davis-Ostrander Duo, winning second prize in the Ellis National Two-Piano Competition.
Rounding out his interests is his passion for aviation. He holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate in both Single and Multi-engine aircraft, is instrument rated and is a Certified Flight Instructor.
